disappointedtourist96 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 Primi ascolti:This Blue World: bellina ma si esaurisce nel finale e non decolla.Charge: ci sono quei due ritornelli un po' debolucci nella parte iniziale, che però vengono resi una meraviglia con gli archi nella coda.Fly Boy Blue/Lunette: la prima parte "sni", la seconda "CRISTO Sì".New York Morning: la più manierista, ha un'aura di ottimismo che la fa sembrare una One Day Like This meno trionfale. Bella, ad ogni modo.Real Life: si tiene su un equilibrio fragile, e ancora non riesco a capire se mi piaccia o meno.Honey Sun: quell'inizio con la drum machine e il synth mi ricorda sempre un po' gli Atoms for Peace, poi però nel ritornello c'è quella chitarra che sembra portarti su una barca in mezzo a un lago dell'Alabama. Bella.My Sad Captains: cioè/addio. (sembra Tender dei Blur con i fiati al posto del banjo)Colour Fields: quelle note di tastierina che si ripetono durante tutta la canzone sembrano dirti che tutto nel mondo funziona alla perfezione. Nel complesso però rimane un po' statica.Title track: bella ma c'è poca dinamica, forse sarebbe stato effettivamente meglio ridurla un po', o come minimo mettere più crescendo.Blanket of the Night: cioè/addio part 2.Nel complesso, comunque, mi sembra un po' inferiore rispetto ai precedenti, anche se i livelli rimangono decisamente alti.
