However, he would not be drawn on the name of the project or whether it ties into any of his previous work.Albarn told BBC 6Music: "This one's [the new album] got about 80, 90 musicians on it – something in that region. It's got a 100-piece Chinese choir on one of the tunes. That plus the orchestra probably goes to about 120, 130 people."Albarn hinted that the project may have something to do with his recent opera, 'Monkey: Journey To The West' by saying that the title of the project had "something of monkeys in there. Sono due buone band che hanno avuto un successo strepitoso che forse non meritavano. Albarn sì che è un genio!Infatti. E direi: basta appioppare l'epiteto "brit-pop" a certe band che hanno varcato esemplarmente la frontiera della metà-degli-anni-'90, come i Blur (e pure i Radiohead... vi ricordate di Pablo Honey?).Per quelle band che l'hanno varcata meno esemplarmente (o che non l'hanno varcata affatto): pazienza. I Pavement non sono mai usciti fuori dal seminato dell'indie-rock, eppure se ne parlerà fino alla fine dei tempi e ciò è giusto ed ammirevole.Per cui, Lacatus, prima di sparare: prendi bene la mira. Anche perché leggere dieci post sui fan dei Coldplay qua e un thread intero sui fan degli Oasis là, a lungo (ma anche breve) andare, è un tantino stancante.
