"sing a song of sixpence"

Oddio! Do-Fa-Fa-Fa-Faa-Fa-Fa, Mi-Sol-Sol-Sol-Sool. La-Sol-Fa-Mi, Fa-Mi-Re-Do-Re-Fa-Mi-Sol-Faaaa. Che amore di canzone che era!

Il testo era più o meno così: Sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye (si scrive così? miglio comunque); four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie. When the pie was opened, the birds began to sing: Wasn't tha a dainty (credo..squisito comunque) dish to set before the King?

The King was in the countinghouse, counting out his money; the Queen was in the parlour, eating bread and honey. The maid was in the garden, hanging out her clothes; when down came a blackbird and snnipped off her nose.

Che ricordo tenero....

EDIT: colliona che sono! Avevi già messo il link al testo! :arbitro:

"This is such a dark period in our country's history, there are these huge elephants that we have in the room at the moment, in the West, and people are desperately trying to erase them from public consciousness."
