Ma sai quante band shoegaze fortissime c’erano in quel periodo che non sono mai sbocciate? Una marea! I Whipping boy sono un esempio simile! Anche se non erano propriamente shoegaze. Ma lo shoegaze comunque non è un genere è un attitudine, una nota di carattere, delle rifiniture. Io sono arrivato ai Ride quella volta tramite l'EP Today Forever acquistato in audiocassetta per curiosità ad ASDA a Clapham Junction. Mi è piaciuto tanto così ho recuperato subito il primo album. jimy84 Posted October 8, 2020 Report Share Posted October 8, 2020 per larghi periodi in questo 2020 non sono proprio riuscito ad ascoltare nulla. questi ultimi mesi invece sto ascoltando un sacco di classiconi che avevo parcheggiato in cantina da troppo tempo. mi sono ad esempio ri-innamorato di Souvlaki, che non ascoltavo da tipo 10 anni. boh, mi pare che lo shoegaze sia perfetto per il mood di questo surreale 2020.
