Then there’s that lush piece, “House of Woodcock.” That, to me, is the 1950s, the mellow, quasi-jazzy, quasi-posh music.

It was called “Bill Piano” for ages, because it was from listening to lots of Bill Evans. Such pretty music, which sounds like an insult, but it’s really isn’t.

The Philharmonie de Paris just released the program of their 2018-2019 season. It's the biggest classical music venue in Paris but is also well known for presenting a wide variety of music during the year (Jazz, contemporary, a bit of hip-hop, world or rock music...) and has quite an innovating artistic policy.

Still, I was quite surprised to see the picture of our dear Thom while browsing the program.

There is not much details but there will be a week-end dedicated to the Labèque sisters (two famous pianists) and one of the concert of the week-end will be focused on minimalist contemporary music including one creation of Thom Yorke. The Philharmonie de Paris just released the program of their 2018-2019 season. The way the presentation of the event is written makes it quite clear that it should be something we haven't heard yet but there is not much details. Anyway, I find it quite exciting to see Thom venturing into new territories (composing for classical interpreters).

This will take place in April... 2019.

Subscription open Friday and ticket sales open in May later this year if anyone is interested.

Thom compositore? Ho capito bene?

AMSP = HTTT = TKOL

Ladro palesemente inferiore agli altri due, secondo me.

Io dico Kid A = Amnesiac > OK Computer > AMSP = HTTT = TKOL > The Bends > IR > Pablo Honey.

Per me Kid A=Amnesiac>Ok Computer>TKOL>HTTT/IR/AMSP>Bends>>>>>>>PH
