Quote

We can’t account for ephemeral things like artistic quality, subjective taste, cultural fascination, or cultural significance, because those attributes are by turns inherent, unexplainable, self-propagating, and based on luck.

Ho ascoltato Nude e beh..interessante!;)

Come cantavano i Radiohead, in «High And Dry», da «The Bends».

WTF?

Decompression sickness (DCS; also known as divers' disease, the bends, aerobullosis, or caisson disease) describes a condition arising from dissolved gases coming out of solution into bubbles inside the body on depressurisation.

Comunque io personalmente continuo a preferire "Embolia gassosa" come miglior traduzione per "The Bends" :faniente:

ATOMS FOR PEACE. THOM YORKE and MISTER FLEA. BACK ALLEY OF THE ORPHEUM THEATER. Los Angeles. December.20.2018. Photo: Kevin Westenberg. Two old friends having a catch-up before all the action begins. Big thanks to Thom, Courtyard Management and the whole crew for putting up with us for two days in Los Angeles recently. A true gent and hugely talented human who along with the other band members Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker, Flea and visual artist Tarri Barri have created an exceptional experiment in sound. One of the most gifted vocalists to come along from the modern era. More interpretive than classic. Instantly recognizable tonally. He continues to push boundaries vocally and sonically. Modern music would be a far more boring place without him. His solo output now provides the entire set with numerous songs played from as yet recorded or released album. They fit into a seamless set with songs from ‘The Eraser’, ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes’ and ‘Suspiria’. Time has flown by so fast as this was my first chance to photograph him in the last 10 years. An honour, privilege and joy to be invited along for a few keys dates in Los Angeles right near the end of the 2018 tour. We got a ton of great live shots as well that will hopefully see the light of day. In years to come this incarnation will hopefully be seen as a pinnacle of electronic hook laden experimentation. They begin again in July of 2019.
