A Moon Shaped Pool ha molti pezzi da alba (Daydreaming, Glassy Eyes, True Love Waits) e da tramonto (Decks Dark, Desert Island Disk, The Numbers, Present Tense), però c'è anche qualcosa di notturno effettivamente (Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief, Ful Stop, Burn The Witch). Wanderer Posted January 11, 2017 Report Share Posted January 11, 2017 Certo che ragazzi l'ascolto in cuffia di Shampoo in alcuni punti è veramente godurioso Ci sono una quantità di piccole cose, dettagli che non sfuggono ad un ascolto attento ma che testimoniano la cura che hanno questi quando arriva il momento di arrangiare i pezzi e scegliere i suoni. E' per questo che per me stanno un passo avanti a tutti, oltre certo ai pezzi che scrivono, ma la loro genialità molte volte si nasconde nel dettaglio. Si sente proprio come curano il particolare.. E poi cavolo io non ho mai sentito una band che fa meglio gli arrangiamenti, loro anche una canzonetta sono capaci di arrangiarla da dio, facendo si che poi il pezzo sia anche meglio di quello che è in realtà. Comunque se vi posso consigliare provate un ascolto notturno sotto una stellata (meglio da dentro casa), il disco si rivela, proprio come aveva scritto Neil McCormick in una sua recensione.. Wanderer Posted January 11, 2017 Report Share Posted January 11, 2017 The Numbers è SOLO arrangiamento (che è BELLISSIMO) Daydreaming invece secondo me nel B è una delle cose più belle che ha fatto thom e ti devo dire che questo piano dal sapore Haroldbuddesco mi piace. Faccio un esempio di dettaglio: quando belli sono quei suoni all'inizio di decks dark..sembra un piano che si rompe. O le tre voci di thom su ful stop che poi si amalgamano nel coro femminile..
