Nettamente.

A me i cori piacciono, molto pinkfloydiani.

In the 13th chapter of the English translation of Murakami's 1Q84 I noticed a phrase that was very similar to a lyric in Identikit. On page 207 there's a sentence that reads "For some reason, the ones who aroused her interest were always sweet-faced men with nothing inside". A page later the phrase "utterly lacking in depth" appears. This isn't unusual given that Murakami is writing about a character's taste in handsome but bland men, but it doesn't stop there. On page 210 in the same character's suicide note it reads "I entered of my own free will, I locked the door, and I threw away the key." And then on the next page the following sentence appears: "She felt as if, with a distinct click, something had switched places inside her." The English translation of this book was released in the United States and the UK on October 25, 2011 before the live debut of the song in 2012. I'll keep reading and see how many other lyrics are in the book.

Present Tense e Norwegian Wood
