Mi azzarderei a dire che se non sei cresciuto ascoltando, suonando e magari scrivendo pop e rock ma sei andato di conservatorio, farai fatica a scrivere tanti pezzi come una No Surprises, una High & Dry, una Let Down, una There There etc... La grande bravura dei Radiohead è stata la capacità di passare da grandi pezzi per chitarra (i.e. materiale che funzionerebbe anche in un conteesto di chitarra e voce) a grandi pezzi basati su tutto tranne accordi di chitarra. Insomma una bella melodia è esattamente la cosa da non cercare nei Can del periodo Suzuki.
