In the court ha un'importanza storica assurda, ma è comunque ancora legato a stilemi musicali in voga, salvo episodi come la parte centrale di 21Th century. Il sacro trittico dell'era centrale (larsk-starless-red) è invevce di totale  rottura. Red anticipa il post rock di 20 anni.

Che sempre sia lodato il "prog"! Comunque, IMHO, Red meglio di In the Court of the Crimson King, anche se preferisco ancora Islands.

Suggerirei anche l'accoppiata Discipline e Beat, strettamente legate a livello di "atmosfera", costruite sull'interazione tra Fripp e Belew.
