Lacatus
23 hours ago, Lacatus said: John Coltrane . Wanderer

Lacatus
Turkish Mambo di Lennie Tristano, suonata sui sintetizzatori Innovative jazz pianist and composer Lennie Tristano recorded "Turkish Mambo" in 1955. It is the first significant example of a major jazz artist making extensive use of "overdubbing" techniques. The original recording is comprised of four piano tracks: three ostinatos, or patterns, in 3/4, 5/4, and 7/4, plus an improvised line over the top of it. Obvious challenges prevent this piece from being performed often, but synthesizers, sequencers, and drum machines are ideally suited for this sort of thing. Here, the 7/4 bass line is played by the Rhythm Wolf, the 3/4 pattern is played by the Moog Mother 32, and the 5/4 pattern is played is played by the Make Noise 0-Coast. The solo line is played on a Juno 60 with effects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI7gCuBlfCA

Wanderer
