The Gloaming (The 33.33333 Remix) (2003)

'The Gloaming' was born when Radiohead recorded Kid A during the experimental electronica-only sessions in early 2000, when the band split into teams who worked on different things seperately. Colin and Jonny created an instrumental track, that would serve Thom much later as the basis for working out a melody.
A version called '33.3 Recurring', that most likely represents the state of work from the Kid A sessions, appeared on an EMI acetate disc in 2003, suggesting it was considered for b-side release:

e Talk Show Host?

no per me semplicemente, come aveva anticipato Colin, intendono aggiornare la libreria periodicamente (magari davvero una volta al mese come ha notato qualcuno).

Ovvio.

Però ci tenevo a precisare che nonostante l'artwork di Hail To The Thief e la scritta 2003, The Gloaming (The 33.33333 Remix) è una outtake di Kid A.

"Thom Yorke has talked a lot about prepping a 20th-anniversary package of Radiohead's Kid A, and the guys have been digging through the archives for that project. Have you been involved at this point?"

"I can't speak for them, but we're all sort of working on possibilities. There's all this archive stuff and the Public Library just opened and that's a big platform for all those kind of things. Beyond that, there's always plans afoot, but I'm afraid that'll be all I can say about it really"

A me non sembra.

“We’ve had different chapters in Radiohead life. Up until the end of ‘OK Computer’ was one chapter; ‘Kid A’ through to ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ was another chapter. We’ve sort of drawn a line now and are wondering what the next chapter will be. That’s what we’ll figure out next.”

:ok:

Comunque n
on volevo sminuirli dicendo che si adageranno sullo stile di AMPS: a me un altro disco come AMSP non dispiacerebbe affatto.

Il prossimo album secondo me sarà cupissimo. Una specie di HTTT prodotto come AMSP.

Prepotente ritorno all'elettronica.

Aggiornamento:

"Hi Ed! Hope you're enjoying your Tuesday.

In a recent interview, you mentioned that you saw all of Radiohead's discography in two chapters: Pablo Honey - OK Computer are chapter one and KID A - A Moon Shaped Pool are chapter two.

My question is this: what direction do you see your third chapter going?"

Ed: "Don't know but that's part of the fun"

Ok computer

Kid A/Amnesiac

Hail to the thief

In Rainbows

The King Of Limbs

A Moon Shaped Pool
