Skirting armonicamente è un casino incredibile, non c'ho capito un cazzo non male comunque i primi pezzi di questo concerto, poi dopo mi è sembrato tutto abbastanza meh. Sicuramente c'è qualcosa che ti fa capire che ci sono jonni e thom dentro - armonie astruse - , ma in generale non mi ha detto molto, sopratutto quandi han cominciato a fare pezzi di 2 minuti che sinceramente boh. Ieri sera ho guardato il documentario su Miles Davis che si trova su Netflix, e consiglio a tutti. Tra le varie cose interessanti, c'è il fatto che Miles non ascoltasse mai i suoi dischi passati ma pensasse sempre a quello presente. Nella parte finale della sua carriera ha collaborato con musicisti molto più giovani di lui, cercando nuovi stimoli e suoni (anche per motivi economici, ma questo è secondario se la qualità del prodotto resta alta, a mio avviso). Ma guarda che non è che ci devi riflettere su più di tanto 😅… Nessuno dice che sia merda mi sembra, a me quello che stupisce di più è l’esclusione degli altri membri della band per un sound del gener. Io credo che Ed avrebbe goduto tantissimo a suonare queste cose. Gli altri progetti solisti avevano un senso perché effettivamente erano dei progetti in cui Thom poteva esprimere liberamente le sue passioni musicali. Io in questa band non ci trovo questo, poi ovviamente non sappiamo nulla, può anche essere che gli altri non volessero attivarsi in tempi brevi. Carino, niente di che. comunque da quando è uscito Anima, che in realtà non ho mai apprezzato tantissimo, che mi sono rotto dei progetti solisti loro. Non credo che Ed e Phil siano stati esclusi: si sono autoesclusi loro decidendo di concentrarsi sui loro cazzo di progetti solisti, proprio in un momento in cui Thom e Jonny volevano tornare a lavorare insieme (avendo Thom cancellato gli impegni del tour di Anima). Giustissimo Comunque ho ascoltato: ci sento Fela Kuti, CAN, Khruangbin e pure spruzzetti di Sonic Youth. Se devo trovare dei punti di riferimento a cui appigliarmi nella produzione radioheadiana penso automaticamente a Ill Wind, ma anche a qualcosa di The King Of Limbs come Feral e Mr. Magpie. Ad occhio e croce, mi sembra un mero divertissement. Ma si disse così anche degli Atoms For Peace che alla fine fu un progetto che si protrasse dal 2009 fino a tutto il 2013.
