fakeplasticrodio Posted January 28, 2005 Report Share Posted January 28, 2005 l'ho riascoltata oggi come tante altre volte,ma non ho provato la solita sensazione di semplice soddisfacimento interiore..c'era qualcos'altro..ho riflettuto(repeat inserito e collegato direttamente ai timpani)e il soddisfacimento interiore ha assunto le sembianze di un mini-nirvana..una delle più belle canzoni dei rh in assoluto... accetto obiezioni o commenti.qualcuno ha una traduzione del titolo che sia in qualche modo sensata in italiano? lift Posted January 29, 2005 Report Share Posted January 29, 2005 una delle mie preferite in assoluto.oltre a quanto già detto da green, vorrei precisare che Ed ne parla nel suo diario (durante le registrazioni di kid a) ma non come "gagging order" bensì come "move along". se non ricordo male, il buon o'brien stravedeva per questo pezzo....comunque, aggiungo che molto spesso mi trovo talmente tanto in simbiosi con il testo.....che a stento trattengo le lacrime. That said, when listening to this, I always think of a person using pills to escape an abusive relationship. Even if you've never used hard drugs, anyone who's been on cold medicine is aware is of that feeling of not quite being in your body as it goes about it's daily activities. "Just a body, pouring down the street" seems to be someone in that state of mind. The fact that the drug dose is "a couple" leads me to think we're dealing with pills here, which could be almost anything. "I'm not your property" almost has to be said in reference to a protective/jealous lover. It could be in reference to a policeman, but that wouldn't quite marry with the preceeding line of "I know what you're thinking." However, the "move along, nothing left to see" sounds like something straight out of a police movie.
