Buona Notte a tutti ! My name is Antonio Magina and i've recently discovered that my last name MAGINA is not portuguese and may have it's origin in Italy. Through the net i found some MAGINAS in Brasil and they also think it comes from there. In a library the closest name i came across is MAGGINI but i would like to know if anyone here can help me about this origin or recomend some site where i can found out more info. I know of a certain Giovanni Paolo Maggini a cello maker from the 17th century and a Maggini Quartet. I've been to Milano once...some 10 years ago and i never felt so at home abroad like i felt there, so if anyone would be so kind or has some time to dedicate to me i would be very gratefull... I work in the music business, so whoever may help me is likely to get some pressies Grazie. Antonio
