CutToShreds
A BRAIN IN A BOTTLE Lord why hast thou forsaken us? Steel hands that come and talk to us In your eye, in your eyes See gold and let them pick the bones The entity I wrestle to the ground At the end of the light, at the end of the night I'll be the one to break myself in two It's like I've forgotten you Think I'm gonna go to pieces now Or come out fighting At the end of the night, at the end of the night Think I'm gonna slow my dance to you Like we already knew You throw a punch I just keep bouncing back Come and fight me At the end of the night, at the end of the night GUESS AGAIN! Wild dogs are howling Behind the curtains I hold on to my children The creatures staring in All of my nightmares Are in the garden Guess again! I'm fighting in the darkness The one who can't be killed At last to get my autograph Guess again! As one door shuts Another opens Guess again! INTERFERENCE We stare into each others eyes like jackals, like ravens The ground may open up and swallow us in an instant, an instant But I dont have the right to interfere, to interfere I dont have the right to interfere, to interfere In the future we will change our numbers and lose contact In the future leaves will turn brown when we want them And I dont have the right to interfere, to interfere I dont have the right to interfere, to interfere I dont have the right to interfere, to interfere THE MOTHER LODE Another clown jumps off the ladder A shallow pool but it doesn't matter The way it goes, the way it goes He's fallen through barriers and hedgerows A hollow man, hollow hand puppet Where's the applause when you need it? A baseball bat, somersaults and back flips Oh how I wish that things would be different The mother lode, the mother lode A hollow man, hollow hand puppet I'm a clown that don't want her to know me The knife behind the curtain Your truth is ordinary You can't see your way out of this one It makes a joke with no one here to listen At least he does not know it The last of all his courage Press the button for our free ticket Here he goes, hits the ground running TRUTH RAY Turn the loose caught in easy ray And I've lost everything And the dust in your eyes and in your hair The rose colored evil ray Turn the loose caught in easy ray Won't let go, won't let go Don't let go, don't let go Have you no mercy, no mercy What has now awakened me And all of this is on my head Oh my god, oh my god All my life, sin sin sin Turn the loose caught in easy ray It won't let go, won't let go Don't let go, don't let go And you know my sin, know my sin My love slips away from me With iron wings and iron will Have you no mercy no mercy What has now awakened me Oh my god, oh my god Oh my god, oh my god A rose colored evil ray And I've lost everything All my life is sin sin sin And all of this is on my head Won't let go, won't let go Won't let go, won't let go NOSE GROWS SOME I don't know where this night will end If I open up the door To the back of your sunken map And in will come a flood When it all becomes too much Spread your acid antics When at times you are afraid In a room full of clocks If I'm blowing myself away Lead through by your tongs To the path of a wolf Your nose just grows Are you just another drop In this matter of misquote We'll wait upon the rocks We're waiting on the tide Through the bad times If I'm blowing myself away Under hot fluorescent lights Through Your nose just grows and grows One day I'll grow real tall You'll always be with me
CutToShreds
Thoughts, anyone? Mi affascina la prima frase dell'album in inglese 'biblico'
@li
Grande canzone. Sono lontani i tempi di Wolf At The Door, dove la disperazione era cieca e senza via d'uscita. W il nuovo Thom!
@li
grande Lac. Grazie!Riporto anche la citazione orwelliana del titolo Brain in a BottleThe logical end of mechanical progress is to reduce the human being to something resembling a BRAIN IN A BOTTLE. That is the goal towards which we are already moving, though, of course, we have no intention of getting there; just as a man who drinks a bottle of whiskey a day does not actually intend to get cirrhosis of the liver. The Road to Wigan Pier (1937) by George Orwell is a sociological look at living conditions in the industrial north of England before World War II. Le parole sono talmente mangiate che e' difficile stabilirlo con precisione.
