    Mi fido al 300% di @instant karma e credo che la data a Taranto ci sará, ma facendo un po' di ricerche ho scoperto che per Medimex 2023 (cioé l'anno scorso) la line-up fu annunciata il 22 Aprile 2023 (con messa in vendita dei biglietti il 26 Aprile 2023), mentre per Medimex 2022 la line-up fu annunciata il 4 Aprile 2022 (con messa in vendita dei biglietti il 5 Aprile 2022), dunque direi che... la data degli Smile a Taranto verrá annunciata ad Aprile 2024, mi sa :ok:

    Dunque sulle migliori per ogni album siamo d'accordo quasi su tutto tranne che per... ALFAA, dove le nostre tre preferite sono tutte diverse :spavento:

    Io lo prendo come un segnale molto positivo: vuol dire che Alfetta è un album con tante buone/ottime canzoni e che sará rivalutato molto in positivo da tanti fans, nei prossimi anni :ok:🗼

    "The Smile returned with Wall of Eyes (2024). The intention was probably to make a more "experimental" album for the crowd of Radiohead fans, but the result is a collection of mellow and stripped-down (and mostly drum-less) litanies. As it is often the case with Radiohead music, this is trivial balladry camouflaged via production tricks as intellectual sophistication. Wall of Eyes is, in actuality, an atmospheric bossanova. The ethereal Teleharmonic is a descendant of soft pop-jazz of the 1970s. Bending Hectic simply stretches the "soothing and harmless" concept to six boring minutes (before a childish guitar riff pretends to trigger a garage jam). The psychedelic-tinged Read the Room is the only moment of inspiration: a cross between early Pink Floyd and acid folk"

    Codex mi piace, non tantissimo, ma non posso dire che è un pezzo brutto, eppure mi lascia abbastanza fermo.

    Concordo alla grande sul discorso dell'arte e su Daydreaming.

    Codex anche a me non è piaciuta per tipo 7 anni. Poi all'improvviso, nel post-AMSP, mi si è rivelata in tutta la sua bellezza, sia in TKOL che ascoltata singolarmente. Ora la amo alla follia.

    Vabbé ci sta, tu vivi all'estero da anni e anni ed è chiaro tu possa ascoltare tale espressioni in un contesto lavorativo estero tutti i giorni.

    Io che vivo e lavoro in Italia posso leggere storielle in lingua inglese da tutti i paesi dal mondo solo sul web. E molto ma molto raramente vedo usare "Read The Room".

    Poi invece sul lavoro sento solo espressioni tipo quelle usate da Geolier :lol: :laugh:

    Quando sul web leggi storielle assurde riguardanti fans di altri artisti/gruppi e alla fine sbucano fuori dal nulla gli Smile:

    "So about 15 years ago when I worked several different retail jobs I had to learn the hard way that listening to FNM is the only safe thing to put on work. All others are off limits.

    When I was working a busy day in a sneaker store during the Christmas period my boss told me to check something fruity on so I opted for California.

    About half through the album the tall, stocky and kinda goofy dude with long hair. Black tshirt, black shorts, thick woollen socks pulled up his legs with desert boots on. It was a 39 c degree day and he was absolutely soaked in sweat and uh... had a cologne that was a bit ripe. I was absolutely hoping to God he didn't want to try any shoes on because of all the moisture he would have been pooling in his leathery, leathery boots. He would have been a decade older than me if not more.

    I was carrying some stock and singing along to one of the songs. Big mistake. Tall dude beelined over and excitedly asked me if I put the song on. I nodded and smiled and hurried myself out to the back. From the stock room I watched him sit down and then the next track came on. Damn, he realised I was listening to the album and got REAL happy and started to kinda recline on the chair and make himself comfortable. I needed to keep serving people so went about my business and the questions began: are you a patton fan? Have you ever seen him live? Do you know secret chiefs 3? Did you know mine poured piss on himself once haha yeah pretty badass, are you working all day? Etc.

    I tried my best to busy myself with customers and he kept trying to make a lotta conversation and not read the room"

    In questo momento, se ci fosse, voterei l'opzione "Nessuna, la mia preferita dell'album cambia ogni giorno" (altro suggerimento a @Lacatus per futuri sondaggi su WOE).

    7 giorni fa dicevo che la migliore dell'album era Bending Hectic, 6 giorni fa Under Our Pillows, 5 giorni fa Read The Room, 4 giorni fa Friend of a Friend, 3 giorni fa Wall of Eyes, 2 giorni fa You Know Me!, ieri Teleharmonic, oggi dico I Quit... allucinante.

    Assurdo.

    Una roba del genere non mi capitava con un album da anni e anni.

    Come direbbero negli States, WOE è un ALL KILLER NO FILLER :wub: :prego:

    Poi ricordiamoci sempre che da un po' di tempo a questa parte Thom non fa foto con i fans (a differenza di Jonny G. e Skinner) e firma solo autografi, nei post-concerti...
