Detto ciò, sono rimasto anche un pochino deluso dalle dichiarazioni di Thom in risposta a Loach. Sostiene di aver pensato a fondo alla questione, ma poi se ne viene fuori con una frase da cui sembra che il problema sia Netanyahu o Trump, piuttosto che non meglio definiti governi "più liberali degli altri". Mi sembra un poco deludente da uno che in passato si è dichiarato più volte un ammiratore di Chomsky, che pensi che il problema sia un governo o l'altro e non l'imperialismo e l'occupazione che va avanti da decenni. Sexbeatles Posted July 18, 2017 Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 Troppe volte negli ultimi decenni la lotta civile (per un popolo, una categoria, una serie di diritti, eccetera) diventa occasione per mostrare presunzione e superiorità morale. Succede a tutte le latitudini ed è diventato il vero tallone d'Achille del mondo progressista, uno dei principali motivi per cui non si fa più breccia nella popolazione e si presta il fianco al non pensiero populista e alla facilità con cui questo prenda quasi per il culo l'essere difensori di valori. Thom avrà anche mostrato una risposta infantile in Scozia, ma credo e vorrei sperare che il vero vaffanculo andasse a quei seminatori di paternalismo di Waters e Loach. Londra è tappezzata di manifesti col faccione di Nick e la scritta "Sold out to apertheid". Sarà per via del fatto che lui stesso ha dichiarato di aver organizzato i concerti in Israele apposta in protesta contro il movimento BDS.
