Visto ora, ti citerei, a caso tra quelli che sono piaciuti a me e che ricordo al volo: Brian Blade - Landmarks (jazz con forti richiami alla folk americana) Wayne Shorter Quartet - Without A Net (free jazz avant stellare, roba che solo wayne poteva concepire) Vijay Iyer Sextet - Far From Over (setsetto, reminescente dei dischi blue note più out) Steve Lehman - Selebeyone (secondo me uno dei più riusciti incontri tra jazz e hip hop, con negri che rappano in maniera ABRASIVA) Brad Mehldau Trio - Ode (IL TRIO degli anni 2000 finalmente in studio) Brad Mehldau & Chris Thile (tutto quello che il jazz odierno non è: facile, accessibile, melodico, cantanto. Memorabile) Nels Cline 4et - Currents, Constellations (storture ritmiche polverose per Cline in quartetto con doppia chitarra) Makaya McCraven - In The Moment (jazz hop che si rifà ai mixtape hip hop, mooolto riuscito, peccato poi si sia perso) Altri ci penso.
