principles Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 Non lo so. Io l'unico difetto che vedo in TKOL è che è abbastanza piatto. Non ve lo so spiegare a parole. Pare che non decolla mai veramente. Cioè ha delle belle canzoni mediamenteNon so di chi è la colpa, se di Thom o di Nigel ( io propenderei così a naso per quest'ultimo )...però sta di fatto che ascoltandole dal vivo le canzoni di TKOL sono veramente belle ( tranne Separator e Lotus Flowers, ma quest'ultima è difficilissima me ne rendo conto ).Quindi secondo me come al solito volevano propendere per un altro tipo di suono, volevano suonare diversi. Forse perché l'album sostanzialmente è molto poco suonato ed è riprodotto molto su loop. O è stato appiattito in fase di post-produzione! Boh...Mi sento di dire solo questo dopo vari mesi. Perchè il risultato finale è buono ma si poteva fare molto di più visto che dal vivo dimostrano di essere alieni e le canzoni hanno il potenziale giusto ( come sempre fra l'altro ).i Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
suzuki Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 secondo me la vera delusione di tkol, quello che ha mandato un po' a puttane tutto, sono i remix. nel senso, hanno deciso di incidere tutto frammentando in loop proprio per consegnare materiale perfetto da remix e la qualità media dei pezzi è ridicola. niente di epocale, niente di innovativo. Gli stessi four tet e modeselktor continuano sempre sullo stesso sound e dinamiche, diventeranno una barzelletta come burial di questo passo. Nelle intenzioni dei radiohead secondo me i remix avrebbero dovuto spaccare più del disco, questa era la grande novità dopo l'up to you di in rainbows. Certi sono addirittura imbarazzanti, ed essendo il disco uscito comunque a nome loro, mi chiedo con che coraggio abbiano pubblicato roba come quello di altrice o objekt.
