@li Posted August 30, 2022 Report Share Posted August 30, 2022 comunque ecco secondo me la maggior parte del pubblico pensava esattamente quello che dice questa recensione (facevo caso ai commenti di quelli intorno) The Smile are basically Radiohead for any of us that don’t go all weak at the knees whenever Thom Yorke’s name is mentioned. Radiohead band members that are not Jonny Greenwood or Thom Yorke may disagree, but we’re hearing the same bass rumblings, the same minimal use of the guitar alongside piano, electronics and a harp that sits at the back all being used in conjunction with the voice we already know so well that cuts through the frequencies like a knife through butter. It’s a mess, confusing and as hectic as a lot of Radiohead songs are. We’re watching the Smile because it’s a couple of blokes from Radiohead with Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner basically, and every time we challenge ourselves to pay full attention, we never seem to come away feeling anything more than slightly confused.
