A me oltre a questa (e sua sorella DID) mi viene in mente solo Gagging Order e Give Up The Ghost. notlivingjustkillingtime Posted June 12, 2016 Report Share Posted June 12, 2016 Finalmente stanno uscendo fuori prepotentemente quelle influenze che vanno da Neil Young a Nick Drake, o meglio erano uscite anche prima d'ora ma non in modo così diretto, sempre in qualche modo contaminate (Subterranean Homesick Alien, Hunting Bears etc.). Forseforseforse han fatto qualcosa di simile con A Punchup At A Wedding (il pezzo del quale Godrich era più entusiasta quando nella primavera 2002 gli vennero presentate le canzoni del Ladro, pensate un po'!), che poi è rimasta praticamente una demo senza arrangiamento (come altri pezzi di Hail To The Thief). Con The Numbers hanno tirato fuori una bella pasta, anche se io avrei impreziosito l'arrangiamento con flauto, sassofono, arpa, contrabbasso e rhodes. Mi piace molto la finezza di nigel di mettere qua e la nel brano le percussioni in reverse,oltre che all'inizio..
