Un tizio che ha acquistato il disco ha anche confermato che sopra nn c'e' nessuna bonus track comunque li vendevano a NY, a Londra solo cassette. Very chill, there's an ambient synth drone throughout (or is it Jonny's guitar through a bunch of pedals? Can't figure it out). Read the Room - Very guitar driven, the closest thing The Smile have done to a rock song (barring YWNWITA). Almost reminds me of Guns and Roses, but that's probably a me thing and won't help anyone reading. Weirdly I didn't love it when I heard it live but the studio version really works for me. The closest thing to a "headbanger" modern day Thom Yorke could realistically deliver. Tom's drums are real heavy. Under Our Pillows - Sibling of Thin Thing, similar type of guitar work. Lots of orchestration in the second half. Probably the album's tensest moment after the outro of Bending Hectic. I Quit - Gotta be honest, I'm with the critics on this one. This track and Wall of Eyes are the only two that didn't click with me. Probably closest to Telharmonic stylistically, but not as interesting. Hope it will grow on me. You Know Me - My favourite track on first listen. Piano driven ballad with plenty of strings, think AMSP or the Suspiria soundtrack. Ends with a massive string climax, kinda reminds me of Sigur Ros. Absolutely beautiful. Of the non singles, Read the Room and You Know Me are the ones I fell in love with the most. But that's just me.
