Wanderer Posted November 28, 2014 Report Share Posted November 28, 2014 La roba che ho dovuto lasciare fuori dal decennio dei 60 è incredibile - d'altronde il jazz sta li.Facendo sta lista mi rendo conto che i miei ascolti in percentuale saranno 80 per cento dei '60 e poi via il resto..e il bello è che non mi sento affatto uno di quei vecchi soloni del si stava meglio quando si stava peggio e apprezzo tantissima musica valida anche di oggi.Però appunto un conto è conoscerla e uno conto è poter dire che è la migliore di tale anno. Difatti nonostante abbia tutto degli U2 per me gli anni 80 restano misteriosi...ahahaDei Talking andava messo Remain In Light, ma non potevo non mettere il disco di Budd nel 1980...e d'altro canto non potevo tenere fuori i TH! L'ho riascoltato dopo un lungo digiuno (5 mesi) e sebbene parole, melodie e arrangiamenti siano miracolosi, non certo si può dire per la produzione: nel master si sono dimenticati di fare il treble-cut, per cui è pieno di sopra-acuti che si mangiano le medie... in più hanno iper compresso i bassi (fatti tutti col synth: un CRIMINE) generando sub-bassi che pure quelli si mangiano le medie. Brani lirici e stupendi come Buio sono martoriati da questa scelta di produzione.Carne, per stessa ammissione di Jacopo, è stata esageratamente pompata. Scelte scellerate da parte del produttore anche per le drum machines. Speriamo che per il prossimo lavoro questi errori tecnici vengano corretti, perché a livello di songwriting Jacopo in questo momento non ha rivali. E mi sa che a Chicago non hanno capito un cazzo di chi è Iosonouncane Ma c'erano già dei "germi" nei mix finali secondo me, per colpa della scelta di affidare a drum machine e synth bass le parti di batteria e basso. Il produttore non è stato in grado di dare "calore" ai suoni sintetici...suoni che poi sono stati compressi e pompati rendendoli ancora più artificiali... Brani come Tanca e Mandria funzionano, ma Stormi, Carne e soprattutto Buio sono martoriate dalla produzione "pompata". Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TKOL tra l'altro ha il treble-cut più incisivo che abbia mai sentito su un disco: levando tutti quegli acuti il master gli ha dato quella peluria, quelle legnosità bella, quel calore che lo rendono inconfondibile...
