Forse Dawn Chorus / Last I Heard l’unica doppietta che saprà rimanere a galla meglio del resto, ma nel complesso dell’entusiasmo iniziale è rimasto poco, come temevo: un disco troppo passionale e d’impatto, una vampata di fuoco non destinata a perdurare, la fugacità di un orgasmo. Ha dato invece prova di saper rimanere su vette altissime, un anno dopo, solido come una roccia, l’intero mastodonte suspiriano. Non so bene in che ordine organizzerei il podio The Eraser, TMB e Suspiria, ma quel che è certo è che ANIMA ne rimane molto fuori. Non solo Suspiria > ANIMA, ma ad esempio: Open Again > ANIMA Volk > ANIMA The Universe > Runaway Klemper Walks > Last I Heard The Conjuring of Anke > Dawn Chorus Unmade > Twist Suspirium Finale > ANIMA Has Ended > Rude Person Ma l’orgasmo vero sta nell’ascolto dell’insieme. Ogni singolo frammento strumentale o intermezzo appare come necessario e splendido. Grandissima atmosfera generale che manco Vangelis. Ci sono dei buoni/ssimi pezzi (tra i quali comunque non annovererei Last I Heard ) Tornando alla questione Suspiria ma perché poi bisognerebbe ascoltare (e apprezzare) per intero un disco che è concepito come come compendio alle immagini cinematografiche e di cui “stand alone” alla fine checchenediciate hanno senso i pezzi cantati e pochi altri? Del vinile (che peraltro ho comprato) si può ascoltare il disco 1. E bisogna pure essere in vena. E mica perché il secondo sia brutto, ma perché sono bozzetti e spezzoni musicali che hanno ragione di essere solo montati sulle immagini. Non vedo perché debba essere impossibile. Allo stesso modo non ritengo impossibile che facciano schifo, ma non mi precluderei nulla ecco. E non penserei che se ad uno piace sentirle anche fuori dal film lo faccia per darsi un tono. Allo stesso modo in cui non penso che se non piacciono allora si è dei cretini. Semplicemente giudicherei la musica e basta, senza assoluti o imposizioni di fruizione. Basta capire che è musica. E che il bello è scoprire, non pensare. Mod sbaglia dicendo cosa si deve fare o dando giudizi di valore. Idem secondo me tu quando pensi che un pezzo sia ascoltabile solo quando risponde ad un tuo giudizio di valore formale. Sul topic Anima ho letto qualcosa tipo “chi si limita ad ascoltarne le canzoni” (beh io mi limito e nn mi sento un’idiota). E parlavo per me e per quelli che sono i miei ascolti abituali (che nn cambiano se una OST l’ha scritta thommuccio mio) . poi mica penso sia inascoltabile, anzi. E comunque è un disco di canzoni di Aimee Mann.
