Per me è un singolo perfetto.Ci sono brani di maggior valore nel disco, che potevano essere molto meglio.In tal senso, un singolone poteva diventare Record Machine, ma se voleva fare lo sborone ed esagerare puntava a Broken Arrow o alla bellissima Jesus Freaks! Broken Arrow sarebbe stata sicuramente un singolo più ruffiano, Record Machine invece l'avrei trovata una scelta sbagliatissima perchè ha un sound oasisiano da far schifo.Forse Everybody's On The Run meriterebbe di uscire come singolo.Però ragazzi il lato più interessante è che probabilmente c'è qualche altra b-side in arrivo! In questa ottica credo che Record Machine e Stop The Clocks siano proprio da escludere come singoli.In ogni caso qualsiasi pezzo del disco è un potenziale singolo. TomThom Posted December 12, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 Soldier Boys è un pezzo raffinato, ma è l'unico che non piazzerei mai come singolo.Le altre 9 sono tutte singolabili invece, con Broken Arrow alla pari con Dream On, che continuo a ritenere le due vette del disco (If I Had A Gun è fuori concorso, EOTR più o meno). disappointedtourist96 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Share Posted January 2, 2012 Io ormai invece penso sia la mia preferita.I superbi arrangiamenti e i meravigliosi intrecci orchestrali sfociano in un turbinio continuo di intense emozioni e rendono il brano immenso e commovente fino alle lacrime. Penso che la coda finale contenga il pathos più clamoroso mai sentito nell'intera carriera di Noel. E' una canzone epica da ascoltare mentre si è sdraiati in una prateria, di notte, guardando il manto stellato che avvolge il paesaggio... O almeno, questa è l'immagine che mi si crea in mente quando l'ascolto...Il mio podio al momento è:1. Stop the Clocks2. Everybody's On The Run3.
