E' più equilibrato, meno casinistico con mille cose dentro ma senza trovare la sua strada; però devo dire che nemmeno quello mi lascia molto, ma come ho già scritto, è un problema che ho io con le produzioni nu jazz. LiveAirSpace Posted March 1, 2023 Report Share Posted March 1, 2023 La recensione di Pitchfork sara' anche giusta, ma usare termini come smug and bombast per qualsiasi cosa fatta da Phil mi sembra un po' esagerato. Io sono andata l'altra sera al live+signing e ho trovato lo spettacolo davvero enjoyable. Non avevo sentito tutto l'album, solo i singoli, e anzi non l'ho ancora sentito tutto. Ma sono rimasta positivamente colpita dalla resa live. Per i primi 4-5 brani Phil ha cantato molto meglio che nel disco, senza l'effetto asma. Ok non e' il singer del secolo, ma giuro che ho pensato tutto il tempo "ma perche' canta in quel modo nel disco? che peccato". E comunque al di la del suo cantato, i brani non sono male. Phil e' una persona squisita e umile, su qesto non ci piove. Lui genuinamente sorpreso dell'affuenza alla serata (ok, capienza minima ma forse si aspettava anche meno gente). Io alla storia che i Radiohead sono fermi per colpa di Ed e Phil e dei loro dischi non ci credo. I Radiohead sono fermi, sono stati fermi perche' magari le cose non funzionavano come band, magari per colpa di qualcun altro. Non lo sapremo mai!
