LiveAirSpace

Lacatus
Un pizzico di Desert Island Disk, un pizzico di 4 Minute Warning, un pizzico di Codex-Give Up The Ghost-Separator... l'abbiamo detto. E un pizzico di Worry Wort?
OKPC_82
In the Zane Lowe interview with Thom for Anima, there's a point around 4:40 where Zane says "it's weird cuz I feel like I know you really well...". https://youtu.be/RBuj29gFvsM?si=DFCQjUjsnfrcY8Tu After this, Thom talks about the strangeness of his emotional connection with the audience and showing the bits he doesn't want to show. I think this relationship is what the song is about. I love that the song isn't purely a "fuck off" to fans who have parasocial relationships with him. The music makes it into almost a lullaby or love song and creates this ambivalence around the relationship. I think the tone of the song works super well as an album ender after Bending Hectic too. We've come through the chaos and darkness of the night and the strings in this song are the dawn. I strongly feel this album has themes about Thom's relationship to the audience, what it's like to face the "wall of eyes" of your listeners as a world famous band, even if the specifics of it are impossible to pin down and will depend on each listener. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSmile/comments/1ahch4z/you_know_me_is_so_good/ Che ne pensate? Lacatus
Ora posso affermare con certezza che pure You Know Me!
