Non è male, vi dirò. Io l’ho preso addirittura in formato cd, com’è mia abitudine fare quando ho fiducia, voglio dare fiducia, mi piace un’artista. Ma non penso di sottovalutarlo. Peccato per questa nuova deriva da singoloni ultraprodotti e releases da calendario instagram. Preferivo di gran lunga il precedente Blake assente dai social e da nuovo album ogni 2-3 anni senza 300 produttori-hype alle spalle. Penso che quest'annata si sia distinta proprio per le delusioni che ci hanno dato diversi artisti che avevamo apprezzato nel decennio precedente: nel mio caso, per esempio, Blake, Tame Impala, Gaslamp Killer, eccetera... C'è bisogno di un ricambio generazionale: qualcuno che spazzi via un po' di roba, come fece la new wave alla fine degli anni '70 o il rock alternativo (grunge, shoegaze e affini) nei primissimi anni '90.
