(unica eccezione Paranoid Android credo) Beh, non è mica vero... in kid a la "forma-canzone pop" si realizza solo in optimistic, e canzoni non pop e non rock sono presenti anche in amnesiac e in httt. ma io parlo di struttura melodica.in Kid A cambia la struttura sonora, ma il songwriting è lo stesso di prima. pensa a Nationa Anthem, alla fine Yorke canta la tipica melodia pop, solo che il contorno è diversissimo. ma anche Idioteque, la melodia non mi sembra così distante da quelle dei dischi precedenti. ...e Thom ti dà ragione (intervista del 2008 a un magazine francese)Thom : I've always considered our music as pop music. People come to see us and say : "this track is so weird, so experimental" and I don't really understand. For me, our music is very direct and obvious. And if you screw upsomething, you do it all again. We love Hank Shocklee and the Bomb Squad, PublicEnemy’s producers. The way they install a set-up in order to be able to playcompletely live…Ed : Or Saturday Night Fever and disco music, where producers lengthened tracks during drumming breaks. Per chi non lo conoscesse consiglio vivamente organik e soprattutto, il vero immenso capolavoro (al primo ascolto mi ha dato lo stesso shok di kid a. la stessa sensazione di non aver mai sentito niente di simile prima) MILES_GURTU in collaborazione con trilok gurtu.
