Lacatus

Panavision My eyes are open wideAnd then I see you Without your robes on Without your crown [Verse 1]And I don't want to hate you I don’t want to bear The kind of fascination That gets in my way (a chi si rivolge? agli altri della band forse? a se' stesso?) [Pre-Chorus]The door that opens wide My high up altar Oh Heaven, help me Is that the time?Beginning, without end (!!!)Never lost, never die Unending, a beam of light A tunnel, in my mind questo secondo me il verso piu' "importante. [Chorus]As it opens wide With a filter on the lens Forget everything you knew She sees everything you do dimentica tutto cio' che sai. Si ricomincia. [Verse 2]And without my shirt on Ovеr broken glass I am dancing for pennies I am staring straight ahеad Questa metafora mi ricorda un po' il pezzo di Down is the New Up (Ladies and gentlemen Without a safety net I shall now perform a 180 flip-flop I shall now amputate I shall now contort) e comunque mi richiama l'immagine del rimettersi in gioco e ripartire da zero... ballare a torso nudo per raccogliere monetine ma con lo sguardo avanti (ahead). [Bridge] A view that is so wide It’s gonna break It's like it holds me in its gazeIf I go, it’s because It’s happened once before And now it’s starting all again (qui si potrebbe tornare alla storia della band e al tentativo, prima dell'uscita di In Rainbows di affidarsi a mani diverse da quelle di Nigel, poi naufragato ma che aveva portato qualche dissapore) [Chorus] As it opens wide With a filter on the lens Forget everything you knew As it opens wide [Outro]Like a new born child Like a new born child Like a child Like a child Like a child Like a child Like a new born child per me sono gli Smile.

Now as I go upon my way So let me go upon my wayBorn of a light Born of a light The wind rushing round my open heart An open ravine In my spirit white Totally alive In my spirit lightThrough an open doorway Across a street To another life And catching my reflection in a windowSwitching on a light One I didn't know Totally alive Totally released Waking, waking up from shutdown From a thousand years of sleep Yeah you, you know what I mean You know what I mean You know what I mean Standing on the edge of you You know what I mean You know what I mean You know what I mean Different types of love Different types of love Different types of love Are possible Are possible Are possible Are possible

clarisse
@li
ok continuo qui, pur sapendo di essere parzialmente OT ma giusto per finire il discorso: Stesso tema (cambiamento, futuro incerto, fini e nuovi inizi): Thin Thing The beginning at the end‘Til we all turn back again Praticamente tutta We Don't Know What Tomorrow Brings (a partire dal titolo) ma soprattutto Get it while you canOr get sad and then get mean I'm stuck in a rut In flat land drainage ditchAnd I'm drowning In irrelevance The Opposite Upon what, upon what will become of usStraw is coming, straw is coming out of us Lit up like a, lit up like a firework Goes back and forth, and followed by a question mark In ashen dozen, pockets full of emptiness Can we have the next contestant please? In this logical, logical absurdityI- I’m quitting on it, I’m quitting unexpectedly Just Eyes and Mouth Soon to complete your transformation And beginning all this all over againTo be changing, always becomingA traveler passing through No one to worry about No one all There’s nowhere to beNow my shadow of light in the dark Someone I knew somewhere beforeSoon to complete the transformation And beginning all this all over
