molonovo Posted December 7, 2023 Report Share Posted December 7, 2023 Sul resto ho visto che era partita una discussione interessante che però penso sia scaturita da un messaggio che non volevo dare o che ho mal espresso: non volevo dire che quegli artisti, dopo quei dischi che indicavo, hanno fatto schifo (U2 a parte), volevo solo dire che la mutazione dei miei ascolti ha fatto sì che non li abbia poi più seguiti con quell'intensità che avevo all'epoca o che abbiano magari pubblicato dei dischi che mi sono passati sopra senza nemmeno che me ne accorgessi. Mi sarò sicuramente perso della roba bella che infatti dovrei recuperare ma alla fine mi ritrovo sempre a dar la precedenza ad altro PS: e sì, confermo che del progetti "costola" dei Portishead ho sentito parlare più volte bene e ci devo dedicare la giusta attenzione Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It has been a long journey and spans over a decade, it's called ‘Lives Outgrown’. As usual it reflects what's been going on with me internally, my 50’s have brought forward a new yet older horizon. It has been a time of farewells to family, friends and even to who I was before, the lyrics mirroring my anxieties and sleepless nighttime ruminations, hence ‘Lives Outgrown’. Not just because of the way we travel through emotional or psychological transitions in our lives but relating more to the time we leave this planet and our motion into the unknown. Something I fear but just need to try and celebrate as a moment approaching, gifting the ability to grow beyond the restraints of this physical world.
