Lacatus
AVC: Has anything new come out of the band being together, and playing together, on this tour?TY: We get to hang out with each other; it's a bit of a novelty. We don't see each other that much when we're not doing this.EO: That's the great thing about doing this sort of thing—we get to spend some time together, socializing.TY: Jonny and I spend quite a bit of time going through half-finished things and deliberately forcing ourselves to finish them so we can get them to the others. I'm getting a buzz out of that—this thing, "Slave," that I was playing for Ed the other day.EO: That's right. It's quite good.TY: I'll send it home to Nigel [Godrich] tonight to mix. Honestly, I could probably use a full day doing it, but you're in unusual places and want to get out. You don't want to stay in the hotel all day; it becomes a little too much for me. It's a little bit more than I can stand. In the end, when we're back from this tour, I'll probably think, "I really should have spent every day finishing stuff."EO: He's finished quite a bit, though.TY: I'm doing all right. I'm finishing what I want to finish.london air conditioning in the middle of winter. recycling dead cells.sucking the moisture out of me until i feel utterly dessicated. i put my headphones on and pretend i'm working.ora sappiamo che Thom è da solo in uno studio a Londra (che lui chiama scherzosamente "ufficio") visto che Ed e Phil erano impegnati in Nuova Zelanda con dei concerti...e Phil sta pure lavorando a un progetto solo. e se Thom stesse lavorando a un album solista che vedrà la luce entro il 2009?del resto "the eraser" fu annunciato in maggio 2006, quando nessuno era al corrente che nel novembre-dicembre 2005 Thom e Nigel erano in studio per i cazzi loro... Sallu

At first we thought, 'How the fuck can we pull this off live?' But then we were listening to 'Fuck The Pain Away' by Peaches a lot and that indirectly inspired us to turn it into something different. It's got a bass line like Airbag and it's in 5/4 time with this 'clapping' groove throughout."
Mr. Wolf

I CAN WIPE YOU OUT ANYTIME
Gasba
The Eraser è freddo, ma semplicemente perché evoca distacco, malinconia assoluta, alienazione, deserto ghiacciato. Tutte queste cose evocano emozioni. Allora raggiunge l'apice. Vaffanculo. Voyant86
I've got to ask: are you only bein nice because you want something?).
