Come suonano?Sono ripeto molto complesse e originali, con elementi ripetitivi in evoluzione, intervallati da improvvise divergenze melodiche, il tutto impreziosito da linee vocali assolutamente originali e ispirate. Da quello che ho letto su Rockol pare che Thom non abbia confermato che siano dei Radiohead anche se presentando una delle due ha detto "qui c'è traccia di Jonny" o qualcosa del genere. Chissà. Lacatus Posted December 5, 2015 Author Report Share Posted December 5, 2015 C'è gente che non ascolta il proprio cantante preferito live acustico per rimanere "vergine" per l'ascolto su disco: mi pare che non ci sia altro da aggiungere...Io ho sempre ascoltato tutto... i live del tour iberico 2002, i live del tour 2006, i vari Latitude/Cambridge/BigChill, eccetera, tutti gli stem di Polyfauna 2.0, e sono anche conscio del fatto che queste canzoni acustiche sul disco suoneranno completamente diverse, come è successo per le varie Separator (Mouse Dog Bird), Lotus Flower, Morning Mr Magpie, che da brani folk quali erano si sono trasformate...Questa volta però voglio fare diversamente Comunque leggo su atease che la scritta sull'opera di Stanley Donwood cinguettata la settimana scorsa, riporta versi tratti dal nuovo brano Silent Spring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Meno freddo di twisted, ci sento le tipiche aperture consapevolmente effimere di morning bell (release meeee release meee) ma in un contesto più etereo alla open the floodgates. Le progressioni vocali poi sono capolavori di sobrietà e stile. Classica roba che dopo 12000 ascolti è sempre nuova. C'è una sorta di universalità profetica "people have the power". Questo conferisce alle canzoni una certa solennità, evidenziata dalla ripetitività in costante evoluzione: i'm not here... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ma non sono un musicista quindi non mi pronuncio oltre.La mia unica impressione è che, TPT esclusa (e anche lì c'è molto di mezzo greenwood, ma in acustico funziona ugualmente), questi pezzi non siano stati composti per essere suonati così.
