acm1989 Posted April 21, 2011 Report Share Posted April 21, 2011 quello che (almeno per quanto riguarda me) è cresciuto di più alla distanza è senza dubbio standing. voglio dire, ci sono un paio di pezzi inutili (put your money in yer mouth) e probabilmente la loro canzone più brutta di sempre (little jude ), ma nel complesso è veramente un bel lavoro!il processo inverso l'ha fatto heathen chemistry. è collegato al primo concerto che ho visto, quindi ci sono affezionato, ma non lo ascolto più da non mi ricordo quando...le uniche che ogni tanto piazzo in qualche playlist sono rimaste the hindu times e born on a different cloud... cazzo, force of nature a piazza san giovanni... dig out your soul mi è piaciuto dall'inizio, ed è rimasto lì ben stabile. decisamente nella top 3 oasis. Il periodo Standing (tra disco, demo, e b-sides) è sicuramente quello con il più alto rapporto Bellezza dei pezzi/Considerazione ricevuta; fossero state a firma di un altro gruppo, canzoni come Gas Panic, Who Feels Love, la stessa fuckin in the bushes, avrebbero ricevuto elogi abbastanza convinti. Da parte di Liam stesso è puro marketing: la sua band non vende, tira avanti concerti in "buchi di culo". L'unico modo per far parlare di se è col sensazionalismo, la sparata, in cui credo sia imbattibile. Cioè chiamare parassita uno che ti ha fatto diventare ricco sfondato, rendiamoci un po' conto. Ma Liam come front man entra dritto nei classics. Lo gettare palate di merda su Liam deriva dal fatto che non sta facendo altro che accusare come un gabbiano la superiorità del fratello Natale, palese fra l'altro. Ha messo su un gruppo ed ha registrato in fretta e in furia un album che non merita manco di essere nominato o di essere riascoltato per quant'è brutto.
