Ma dai!!! Non è per niente brutto...Cerca di immaginarti preso per mano dal Bianconiglio nel meraviglioso mondo dei Sigur Ròs...Lascia che la musica scaturisca dalle cascate, dai prati, dal cielo che tocca la terra, dalla (naturalmente voluta e non naturale) familiarità della gente con la propria terra e la sua voce, che è quella di Jonsi e compagnia...Altrimenti come già consigliato guarda il cd2 e vedilo come una serie di video di esecuzioni live, che musicalmente non si discutono. petlifesaver Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 update on the next album24 January 2008according to an update to the bands myspace page, the band are heading to new york city to continue working on their next album with music producer flood. the boys have got together a - by their standards - big bunch of material and are leaving iceland for new york to work with flood on what will hopefully be a quick, neat job - maybe even ready for release by the summer. Voyant86 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 alcoa deal announced1 April 2008 sigur rós will be lending their name to a newly built aluminium smelter in eastern iceland. the band have agreed a deal with alcoa, the world’s largest aluminium manufacturer, for the huge smelter - located in the small town of seyðisfjörður - to be named after the band. artwork from all four albums will be reproduced on the outside of the building and employees inside will enjoy an assortment of sigur rós tracks played on the PA system while they work. whilst representing somewhat of a turnaround from the band, who have vociferously opposed similar smelters in the past, it’s believed that the size of the deal made it too good to turn down. more information on this will follow...Strano mondo l'Islanda! Voyant86 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 sigur rós in abbey road studios24 April 2008 sigur rós are currently in abbey road’s studio one recording a track with a boys choir and 67-piece orchestra. in an interview in today’s morgunblaðið newspaper, orri revealed that the album’s sound is considerably different than on their previous albums, and that the lyrics on this album will be “more understandable to the public than on previous albums”. the album is nearly completed and is expected to be released this summer.
